Tom has clearly paid close attention to detail in crafting a great stand that has greatly improved my home ski prep setup.
For example, the slot spacing and sizing is just right to allow enough play to reach between and around skis when pulling them in or out, but at the same time keep the skis from knocking into each other. As a further touch, the slots in the top plate are slightly wider to make it easier to feed the ski tail back into them, while the bottom slots are narrower to better constrain the ski. As a result, this stand doesn't just hold a lot of skis, but makes it possible to quickly and securely rotate through which skis you're working on. I greatly appreciate that it was carefully designed with real work in mind, not just storage.
On top of that, the construction quality is top notch, assembly is easy, and it will easily disassemble for flat storage in summer. Tom has done the nordic ski community a great service here!
Our growing quiver of skis were on the road to becoming unruly. Once I found Nordic Up, I knew there was no going back. I bought my Nordic Up stand about 4-5 years ago. Since then it has become an essential tool in my garage wax room and I can't imagine going without it. When waxing multiple pairs of skis the Nordic Up makes it so easy to quickly switch between skis for ironing, scraping, layering wax, etc. Skis are held securely and most importantly safely to avoid any damage. The Nordic Up is pretty much bomb proof and mine still looks and works like it did on day 1. It is a very high quality build and I highly recommend the Nordic Up!
